Just doing a quick review of experienced players who could be returning next year.
QB - Lanning, Rohach
RB - Warren, Thomas, Brown, Ryen
TE - Chandler, Schaeffer
WR - Lazard, Montgomery, Daley, Ryen (again), Epps, Wesley
OL - Campos, Burton, Philbert, Dunning (last year)
DL - Tucker, Aka, Trent, Waggoner, White, Leath, Trent, Luna, Thomas,
LB - Jones, Peter, Knott, Northrup, Harris, Seely, Mills, Harvey
DB - Tribune, Peavy, Cotton-Moya, Wiltz, Tribune
Is that a group to be optimistic - whoever the coach is? To me, we should be improved at DL with the exception of DE and linebacker and DB (need safety help). On offense, the concern would be if Lanning is the real deal and still building at Offensive line.
I would like to see more JC help at safety and DE. Hopefully some of the redshirts and special teamers can add additional depth, particularly being ready to step in on the offensive line.
