1. Terrible call on the fumble and touchdown. Changed the game.
2. QB for UNI scrambled outside all game to save plays and ISU made some mental errors on the edge by not pressuring him back to the middle.
3. Kicker for them made everything. His personal best long kick.
4. ISU bailed UNI out at least three times with terrible 2nd and 3rd down calls on short yardage.
5. ISU missed an easy field goal.
Player evaluation and play evaluation.
1. Lang is the 4th best back. He gets what it is blocked for. Hall was a little hesitant after initial cut but the talent is there. When he drops the hammer earlier things will change. Croney is the best runner right now. Nwangu was good outside.
2. Receiver. Jones was a stud. Pettway was good. Couple flashes from others. About it.
3. Dline: Zach petersen is a stud. Leo has improved. Got off some blocks he didn't last year. The rest looked good as usual.
4.Dback: the transfer safety Bickam (sp) had some bad moments. Azunna played better there.
Plays.
1. Lose the tight end out. Run a corner route if you want. NOT AN OUT ROUTE.
2. Never throw a fade on 2nd down. Never.
3. Get the damn first down when it is 2nd and less than 4.
Overall. ISU played better than the score. UNI got every break including a gift touchdown. Just have to finish drives. Playmakers at the other receiver spots may be an issue.
