He has confirmed his commitment and he informed the Iowa State coaches within the last hour. Never a matter of if he was going to do it or not. Just didn't want to report it as done until the coaching staff had actually been informed by Solomon that he had committed.
Very athletic, plays very hard and should be physically ready to step in and play some fairly serious minutes. He's slightly undersized as a Big 12 four man and not the most skilled guy so how much long term upside he has will depend greatly on skill development but I think his style of play is fit for the way Prohm plays (assuming he plays like he did when he coached at Murray State)
