ISU was neither out-athleted, nor out schemed Saturday, it did however make enough key mistakes to lose the game. In the post game Campbell said winning a rivalry game is important and they would go back and figure out what went wrong, but winning a Big 12 championship has always been the goal. I think he believes ISU is going to be in a lot of close conference games like Saturday and if they want to win their share, they have to eliminate mistakes and make the play when it's there.
