The $EC has a mixed bag on Rivalry weekend. Famously it has the Iron Bowl, less famously The Egg Bowl, and, soon, the Best Little Whorehouse In Texas Bowl (my name, liked the Musical.) Others play cross Conference Rivalries like Georgia/ Georgia Tech, Florida/Florida State, Clenson/SCar. Arky and Mizzou play for something. KY plays Louisville. I have no idea who Tennesee, LSU, Vanderbilt, play.
The point is many big rivalries occur during the season, not at the end. The Red River Rivalry will stay intact but OU has no last game rival. Much like us. They use to have Nub, then Bedlam. Now Will they make a deal with the Big 12 to keep Bedlam alive maybe along with say Kansas and Miizzou? Or would OU/Ark be a rivalry?
Scheduling will be interesting.
