I will admit that I have't really watched UNI play this year, but watching this game, even though their shooting is off, I'm not sure why anyone on here was thinking that ISU is "lucky" they didn't have to play UNI this year. Maybe that talk was during the 2 game losing streak the Cyclones were on, so people were a bit down. But I'm watching this MO Valley Championship game, and I see S.L.O.W.
UNI and the hawks appear to be about the same, but neither is in the class of anyone in the Big 12 except Tech and TCU.
Verne Lundquist mentioned parity in the NCAA these days, making a reference to the thought of "Mid-Major:, and I agree, in The Dance this year, anyone can beat anyone at any time. But in the grind of a conference season, I think you take one of these teams, or any other Middie, and they would struggle to be .500 in the Big 12.
