After reading through the handy-dandy compliance brochure and letter this morning that was sent out to Ames businesses last week, I assume that each player will be paying for the opportunity to attend the Bulls game on Wednesday, as mentioned by Coach Prohm?
Because to let them go at no cost is clearly an extra benefit not otherwise available to the general student population.
Or does the NCAA allow teams to attend games such as this in a host city if a game is available during the NCAA tournament that can be paid for by the athletic department?
I'm sure NCAA guidelines are probably like an insurance policy....the language gives you coverage in the first half of the policy, and then makes dozens of exceptions in the latter half of the policy.
