Dave, applaud your effort from the other day. People have been talking about Jamie not being willing to open the pursestrings and pay Fred what he is worth and trying to blame him for Fred leaving. I think that is BS as I do not feel it is about the money, but I would be curious to see if 10,000 ISU fans showed up to "tailgate" this weekend in a rally to support Fred and an attempt to retain him if Fred would be able to ignore it? I would have a hard time walking away from that kind of support. Money is not an issue IMO, but he needs to know that the support he has here cannot and will not be replicated anywhere he goes. Maybe it is a dumb idea but if it starts, count me in for a few hours of attendance.
