....I would like to see us hire a DC who utilizes blitzes a bit more than we do now, and who lets the cornerbacks play closer to the line of scrimmage so that they can bump the other team's receivers, knocking them out of their rhythm. These air raid offenses in the Big XII are deadly once they acquire a rhythm, so I believe that we need a more disruptive defense as part of the next coaching regime. I really like Wally, but this 'keeping it all in front of us' philosophy has made an old man out of me these past seven years.
