Alright fellow Cyclones I gotta vent a bit.... I've been a Cyclone Club member for the past ten years (every year after I graduated from ISU in '05) and I currently donate at the Captains level. I'm in the USAF and haven't made it back for a game since college in, but I've purchased 4 season tickets (now 6 with SEZ) every year and given to my parents/friends to attend the games. I always purchase a vehicle pass for my parents to make it easier for them to get into the game. I didn't expect to make it back to any games this fall (deployments and TDYs), but I have the opportunity to come back for the UNI opener this fall.
Becuase this is such a big deal to my family and I we're all making the trip (5 children & my bride) to see how amazing football games are at ISU. I'm traveling up in our RV from Arkansas and I was hoping ISU would be able to sell me an additional RV pass for the UNI game. I've called a few times and I'm told they have given out all the available RV passes for the year and they can't issue any more passes. I understand there is limited space in the RV lots and it's the first game of the year with the new SEZ, but I gotta think they could make one exception to the rule. I know most of you on this board have donated longer than I have or donate more, but I don't really ask for much from ISU and the one time I really really need some assistance I get nothing. I know Vet Med is a good spot to tailgate, but I wanted my children to see all the activity on the north side of the stadium. It's truly no one's fault and I understand ISU's stance on the topic, but I'm a bit frustrated they can't help me out just a little bit.
Sorry for the rant, I really didn't have anything positive to contribute to the board today, just me complaining (1st world problems). On a side note, I do have a parking pass in B5 or B6 that I won't be using so if you're interested please call/text me and ask for Rojo.
