The upcoming game results are pending playing the games being played, on-the-field.
Do you prefer things to proceed according to the current "rankings", or
do you like to see some others earn some attention
and then to have some favorites become humbled (kind of) under the attention?
There is likely some upcoming game activity, or game results that may partially please both groups.
But remember....there ARE more important things going on....in the world, including nearby.
"Always be prepared" and "do not take any wooden nickels".
Saturday Conference Championship games:
American Athletic Conference Championship: No. 22 Temple at No. 19 Houston, 12pm ET, ABC
SEC Championship: No. 18 Florida vs. No. 2 Alabama, 4pm ET, CBS
Mountain West Championship: Air Force at San Diego State, 7:30pm ET, ESPN2
Big Ten Championship: No. 5 Michigan State vs. No. 4 Iowa, 8pm ET, FOX
Pac-12 Championship: No. 20 USC vs. No. 7 Stanford, 7:45pm ET, ESPN
ACC Championship: No. 10 North Carolina vs. No. 1 Clemson, 8pm ET, ABC
And the vast majority of teams have a bye week....that also will be wondering about future bowl invites etc. ( including Toledo, Oklahoma ...and last years National Champ, Ohio State...which could have been Baylor or TCU.... )
p.s. No matter the game outcomes, the bowl game and the playoff slots WILL BE FILLED - and quite swiftly too. (whatever the ensuing handwringing that occurs, during and /or after the games) And there WILL BE a lot good match ups - with uncertain outcomes (again).
Is next weeks Army vs Navy fb game going to leave some things in flux?
p.s.t. The once maligned - by some, not all - former ISU offensive coordinator (mensa) Herman is now a Head Coach to a rising Houston team - and playing in a Champ game. Interesting.
p.s.s.t. The once maligned - by many - former ISU HC Chizik is a defensive coordinator for a rising North Carolina team. Interesting.
Maybe the ISU armchair coaches / qbs may want to reevaluate their quick critiques, going forward?
imho
