Living out here I have endless stories of people thinking ISU and EIU are the same school, we are in the Big 10, Iowa State Hawkeyes etc etc. I do have a unique one to share this time. I was playing in a golf tournament in the Seattle area yesterday and the group ahead of us drove into our fairway to hit a ball. My body and golf bag were decked out in Cyclone gear. One of the guys yells out "USC?" I yell "Iowa State!" He mentions that he was just on campus at ISU LAST WEEK for Sherwin Williams. You would think that he would put the colors together along with the I-State logos and Cy head cover. For good measure, before they drove off his partner yells "is that in Davenport!?" 
At least i got several "Go Cyclones" standing at an intersection waiting for my ride earlier in the day.
