As of today's rankings:

1-Alabama
2-Ohio State
3-Clemson
4-Washington
5-Michigan
6-Wisconsin
7-Penn State
8-Colorado
9-Oklahoma
10-Oklahoma State

Couple thoughts. One, my how things could look different if that fluke Central Michigan game went the other way against Okie State. Not saying they'd be in top four but they'd be top 6 for sure especially if they beat OU.

Say Clemson and Washington lose. What are the final four? In that scenario, which isn't that crazy to think can happen (although I think Clemson takes care of Va Tech), the top four will very likely have three Big Ten teams in...Ohio State, Michigan moves up, and then winner of Wisconsin/Penn State.

Does the committee ultimately put three teams from one conference in the playoffs that include two teams that didn't even win their division or play for the conference title? Part of me thinks yes, but part of me thinks they can't pull that trigger.

If they don't put three B1G teams in, who gets in? Clemson? Colorado?
