A lot of people on the board are down on Coach Prohm. I think one of the jobs a coach must do is find a way to get good shots for his team. Watch the game again and count how many shots we missed at point blank range. A D1 player should make at least 90 % of shot they get right at the rim. A shot at the rim is an easy shot. We missed enough easy shots to win the game. These shots are on the players not Coach Prohm. We also need to look at some of the turnovers we had. I can remember 3 that were of the junior high variety. #1, Burton bring the ball up the court out of control and tries to dribble through the trap, turns it over. #2, Naz dribbles ball up the court and tries to pass to MT but the pass is not even close and goes out of bounds. #3 Holden tries to set a back pick and runs over the guy. We also had a few times when we dribbled the ball over the half line and immediately picked the ball up against their half court trap. These turnovers are on the players not Coach Prohm. These are D1 players who have probably been told a thousand times to not dribble over the half line and pick it up before they ever got to college. If you watch 10 minutes of tape on Iowa you know they are going to run that trap. Coach Prohm can not go on the floor and do everything for these guys. I bet the players will say the same thing after they watch the tape.
