After talking with Jordan Ulmer's head coach, I think Iowa State probably got a steal in the big 2017 safety from Belleville (Mich.) Ulmer was hampered by a high ankle sprain throughout his junior year and even though he played fine, his head coach thinks he was at about 50 percent. Suffice to say, a healthy Ulmer could have a huge prep season this fall. Coach Crowell at Belleville thinks more offers are going to come his way, so Iowa State will be battling to keep him.
