Yesterday I sat next to a friend who had a nephew play at IA Western last year. He told me he went to the national championship game in Biloxi, MS last fall. He saw and talked to CPR and Wally. He also noticed a couple wearing Iowa State clothing so he introduced himself. Turns out the couple were the step parents of Charlie Rogers. I wasn't aware Charlie had committed to MN last December. His parent just said things didn't work out too well at Iowa State. I remember hearing the main reason Rogers left was he didn't get along with his position coach. Can't remember his name but he was only here a couple of years then when to Pitt I believe. What concerned me was my friend's nephew said Rogers had a lot of friends on the IWCC team and after sharing his reasons for leaving Iowa State IWCC players didn't have a very good opinion of ISU. Now... this is from the kid's uncle so take it for what it is worth. Rogers selected the Gophers over Illinois, Indiana an Utah State. Was the last player we got from IWCC Wembley? Coe was from there and we all know how that worked out!
