When I heard the Tech game was on FSN, I was expecting that I would need to head to a bar to get it. I'm never really sure what channel FSN is on my TV, but I am pretty sure I don't have any of them. (I cut the cord, but Mediacom hasn't disconnected me yet.) I do have streaming options, but FOX networks don't seem to stream live sports, or if they do I haven't found the right app. So I that left me in the situation where a bar was my only hope. Louie's Scoreboard in Marion is the official gamewatch, but with the Hawk game first and limited parking, I wasn't thrilled about that.
So I decided it's time to find out for sure what channel it is on in Cedar Rapids and see if I get it. That meant checking out 506Sports. A big thank you to the guy that posted that link recently. It's a great site.
Much to my amazement the local FOX channel is picking up our game. That not only means I get it, I don't have to stream it and it should be in HD. I am overjoyed that I can watch it from the comfort of my own home. It is the only local station on the list to pick up the game. So in that regard our local broadcasters are taking care of Cyclone fans better than anywhere else in the state. Proof positive this is Cyclone country.
