One of the positives of being the PA announcer at various high school events is catching up with ISU football recruits from time to time. Tonight, I did the CIML Central Conference track meet at Urbandale, and caught up with Southeast Polk’s 2023 OL Kadyn Proctor. Sounds like the Cyclones are still very much in the running.
He mentioned Brock Purdy speaking at a Christian athlete’s conference last weekend and how much of an impact that had on him. Says he still calls ISU’s recruiting coordinator Derek Hoodjer every couple weeks. Is eyeing a June/July unofficial visit to Iowa State. Much more coming tomorrow!!!
