I didn't keep up with this controversy to really understand what it was all about from her drive for women's voting rights over a century ago. I read the review committee's report and think I understand how her decades long focus to win these rights for women may have led to her being labeled a racist a century later. I doubt this controversy goes away, but I think her accomplishments deserve recognition and not so sure the racist criticisms that stain her legacy are totally fair given what she was trying to accomplish.
