I was planning on retiring at the end of the year. Company had me on a five quarter "retirement transition" plan. Virus has hurt our business like everyone else's. Last Wednesday I was called in and told my retirement had been moved up night months. Treating me ok on PTO and contributing to my HSA through August. Tomorrow will be the first Monday in 43 years I'll be unemployed and can sleep in. Kind of looking forward to it. Three daughters and six grandkids are 10 miles away. Otherwise I'd move to Ames so I wouldn't have that 200 mile round trip.
