went to the cap city league tonight, huge crowd. I only watched half of the last game, but all of the first two games. Best player on the court, without question IMO - Monte Morris. He was great at everything, passing, defense, driving and shooting the three. Cooke, Naz and Jameel did not play. Burton is a bull in transition and driving to the hoop. Had one of the best dunks I have ever seen. I do not recall him getting any rebounds, and he did not shoot well from any distance. I like Noskowiack....I think he is a major upgrade over Custer. Much taller, longer and more athletic. Did not appear to be in great shape yet. Shot the three well. Played with an injured finger....I asked him about it after his game, he said it was "fine." Thomas played well the second half of his game. More impressed than I thought I would be with Babb.....played good defense, blocked a lot of shots and shot the three fairly well. Also drove to the hoop OK. I think he will be good, and will greatly benefit from sitting a year. Drake has a couple good basketball players, but they look like kids compared to our guys. Kourtlqnd Jackson played very well. I talked to his father quite a while. Nice guy. wished him well at Southern Miss.
