I still have a smile on my face from the nice win at Kansas State. It's the first smile I've had in a while. Even after the win over Texas Tech a couple weeks ago, you may recall my mood was as if we had lost. I felt something was not right. Losing the next two didn't help erase that feeling. But the way the team took down Kansas State in a very focused and methodical manner was a pleasing thing to see.
I'm not advocating we play zone all the time, or use all the shot clock, but the focus of the team and the ability to execute a plan was very satisfying. Oklahoma is going to be a tough challenge, but I am really getting excited for it. The pregame festivities are only about 4 hours away.
