Was going through some boxes in the attic yesterday and found three "Bombs" from my grandfather's time at Iowa State College 1903-1907.
The football team in those days played mostly instate games, but did venture to Minneapolis to play the Gophers. This was the team from Fall '03.
Pretty sure most of these fellows were from the state of Iowa. We were doing it the "right way" back then. Well before the time of weight training and protein shakes.
