Apparently, we got a commit Sunday from Ashley Joens, a 5-9 off guard from Iowa City, I believe City High. She's a 5-star prospect and ranked the 16th best recruit for 2018 on Hoopgurlz. I think prior to this, Maddie Wise, the girl from Indiana who signed with us last week, was our top-ranked recruit at No. 45.
I see while Hoopgurlz lists her at 5-9, an article in the Iowa City paper from earlier this year lists her at 5-11. She averaged 19.2 points per game as a sophomore and is a gym rat.
