For those gluttons for realignment punishment, I think the following article does a pretty good job of laying out the timeline of when the Big12 lost its mojo, ending with Mizzou leaving for the SEC. Obviously from a Mizzou perspective, but I think it accurately reflects, IMO anyway, why Neb and Mizzou left - they couldn't trust OU (Boren) and UT (Dodds).
