Just saw that Baylor WBB swept Texas over the weekend, putting Texas at 5-5. I kind of was hoping they'd split and give Baylor another loss. It also would have been great for ISU if WVU could have knocked off OU of course. Anyway, I don't see Texas or KState still being in the race for regular season champ. ISU can likely only suffer one more loss (@ Texas) if they want to win the conference outright. We need to cheer for Texas to knock off OU at Austin this upcoming weekend and then we can get a 1 game lead on them. I don't see OU losing another game besides at Hilton hopefully. So OU finishes at 14-4 likely. Baylor probably doesn't have another loss on their schedule. We need to beat them at Hilton, especially if we lose one more game. That would also put Baylor at 14-4 with a loss to ISU. KState has a tough remaining schedule and will lose a few more likely, although we need to cheer for them to win as much as possible since we have a sweep over them. 15-3 for Cyclones should get them the regular season title but it won't be easy. Road games at Texas, KU and WVU and home games vs OU and Baylor will all be tough games!
If ISU does get the 1 seed, and OU and Baylor tie, OU would get the 2 seed since they swept them. Would be nice to face KState/Texas in the semis of the Big 12 tourney and not have to play Baylor/OU until the finals. ISU would have a very strong chance at 2 seed in NCAA's and maybe even a sniff at 1 seed I'd think if they somehow managed to be Big 12 regular season champs outright and tourney champs as well. What Fennelly is doing this season so far is incredible!
