My wife and are are vacationing in Savanna and had a gentleman see my Iowa State shirt. He said “I love watching the Big 12.” I asked his connection and he said “I’m just a sports fan, mainly football, from Connecticut, and really like the Big 12.” He went on to say people say the SEC is supposed to be the best, but he likes our conference the best, and knowing the teams in it. He knew all about Iowa State and is excited about our future. It’s the first time a random person has said that to me, but if there is one, there are more. Just fyi. Didn’t know if this was worth a post, but it was interesting to us.
