We all have an opinion and it’s very easy to panic and get caught up in media hype, but in my opinion the Big 12 is far from dead. There are still 8 strong schools, four years of TV money to rebuild with, and some good options for expansion.
Options include:
-partnership with Pac to make a 20 team conference
-add two schools to get back to 10 from list including
BYU
Boise State
Cincinnati
Arizona
Arizona State
Central Florida
South Florida
SMU
Houston
all know how to play football and are competitive.
If the Big 10 poached from the Pac, there will be schools who would gladly join the Big 12. No reason to panic, and JP won’t. Baylor just won the national championship in basketball and Iowa State soon in football
