Now that it appears the conference will expand by at least 2 and maybe 4 members, who would you like to see added to the conference. Be realistic. I would like expansion to 14 teams. I think 14 provides the most stability. Assuming 14 teams my choices would be:
Houston - premptive strike to keep other conferences out of our back yard. Natural rival to TCU and other Texas schools.
Memphis - FED EX money for championship game. Metropolitan market. Natural fit geographically. Solid football and basketball.
Cincinnati - Similar to Memphis in that it is a major metropolitan market. Good fit geographically. Brings states of Ohio and Indiana into our footprint. Solid football and basketball.
Navy - Service Academy. National following. East coast ties. Solid football.
BYU AND Coloado State if we go to 16 teams. Right now adding them spreads us across 3 time zones which hampers exposure and scheduling.
What say you Cyclone Nation? Who do you feel is the best fit that we can reasonably get and why?
