I wanted to try a bidet for quite some time. Using toliet paper seemed so archaic. But I wasn't sure spraying cold water on the target was a good answer. Since I didn't have an electric plug or access to hot water nearby, I put it off. And even if I did have hot water, it takes too long to clear the cold water out of the pipes where my primary toilet is located. To further complicate the issue I needed one with left handed controls so it wouldn't be in the way. Units with left handed controls are rare. And the last obstacle was my toilet color is grey which eliminated the rest of the choices.
Finally I bit the bullet and got a cheap bidet attachment and just went with a white, left handed one. I'm not old enough to have suffered through outhouses, but I am amazed that it took me this long to discover the bidet. I can't imagine not having one now.
So the poll of the day is who uses a bidet at home. It's a simple yes or no poll. For those that have tried them and didn't like the experience, feel free to comment. Likewise for others that haven't used one but are thinking about getting one.
