Best Route To Tulsa?

I've lost the post where this was briefly discussed, but I figured it's worthy of it's own thread anyway. Coming from Des Moines, I was wondering what the best route is to downtown Tulsa. I plugged the trip into Google Maps and got the following:

• I35
• I435 starting at the interchange just south of Liberty
• I49 starting at the interchange south of Kansas City
• I44 at Joplin
• I244 at Tulsa to downtown

I would appreciate comments on the above route or suggestions for better ways to get to downtown Tulsa.
