Point Guard: Monte Morris; Donovan Jackson - Better than this year, IF Monte stays. If not, need another to spell, push Jackson. (2)
Shooting Guard/Small forward (I don't know how to differentiate): Naz Mitrous-Long; Matt Thomas; Hallice Cook; Nick Weiler-Babb; Jacolby Long; (5) - Better than last year assuming Babb brings something to the table and Naz is a reasonable facsimile of his old self.
Stretch 4's: Deonte Burton; Emmanuel Malou (2) - Let's face it, these guys aren't Georges Niang - or even close. Best we can hope for is that they can be solid and have some depth.
Power Forwards/Posts: Brady Ernst, Simeon Carter, Solomon Young, Cameron Lard (4)- No McKay, but maybe better offensive potential. Can a couple of rebounders/interior scorers develop? Hopefully, this is a position that can be a lot better by the end of the season than it will be at the beginning. We will see.
Obviously, since we are still looking, some of these 13 names will not be on the final roster. Morris may go pro. Card is a rumored academic risk, mostly because he was not eligible due to transfer rules in Louisiana.
