McKay def misses Hogue on the defense end. He is getting drawn away from the hoop on pick and rolls and then abused. He is getting pushed under the hoop and not rebounding. The kid is just lost on D right now. I say they run some junk defense and leave him in the paint. The Big 12 has no real Centers that he would need to leave the paint for anyway.
Mix some other guys into the rotation. I dont care how young or inexperienced they are. We arent getting anything from Cooke right now so it couldnt hurt to throw 2 more bodies in there at various times with experienced players to give others some rest.
Define roles on this team. Nader should not be handling the ball outside of the paint. Morris needs to be a better defensive player at the top of the key. Guys need to stop running out or trying to block every shot. This puts our already bad Defense on the run and gives up too many easy shots.
