I usually attend this event at least one night a season. Tonight was the night for me. I only stayed for the first game and the first half of the second game.
Ladies and gentlemen, I will make a bold statement right now. Deonte Burton will be the Big 12 newcomer of the year this next season. He is incredibly strong, amazingly athletic, and he can shoot better than I thought, and he is the best "dunker" I have ever seen in college. The fans there were in awe at his dunks.
Monte played in the second game and he was his usual great self especially with his assists.
I have a question for you guys: Do we have a kid with the last name of Turner that will be playing as a preferred walk-on for us this next season? Is he the one from Kirkwood CC? If so, he is a deadly outside shooter. I forgot the kid's name.
