This is discussing nothing big but just marveling at something I thought I would never see. (again)
It is likely we will draw 123,000 for our first two home games this year.
20 years ago, when Mac took over and started us on our path to recovery, we drew just over 120,000 for our first 3 home games that year (Ohio, Iowa and UNLV)
Lot of people have done a great deal to get us to this point and I am grateful to each of them. Start with Mac, CPR, the different AD's and the three past presidents- all who have rescued us from Gordon Eaton and the Pomerantz regime. (how do you think Marvin would feel if he knew ISU was bigger than Iowa and if ISU may outdraw Iowa on opening weekend?)
Think about it- did you ever imagine seeing 61,000 fans in Jack Trice for an ISU game??? I am in awe at our support and grateful to be a Cyclone!!!
