Big article on last page of sports section about 'fall off' of Big12 FB recruiting. Says it's a result of the realignment back in 2010. aTm going to SEC has opened up Texas to SEC recruiting. Texas recruiting has really dropped off--used to get the majority of the top recruits; now are just getting around 15 Texas HS recruits.

I'll try to upload the link, but the last paragraph says:
"If the Big12 can't slow that hostile takeover of its prime territory (Texas), its on-field reputation as a slightly lesser brand of football might not change anytime soon."
