I was much more into it last season than I have been this year. Last year, if they played while I was at work, I could hardly wait to get home to watch the game. This year, I fall asleep halfway through and sometimes fast forward through a lot of it and sometimes don't watch the whole thing.
I think part of it is the basketball is not nearly as exciting as it was last year and it's virtually the same cast of characters. But the other part of it might just be the novelty of being an elite team has worn off.
Whatever it is, I think I've enjoyed following the flurry of recruiting news since this new football staff took over more than I have following the MBB team. Maybe it's just me. I've always been more of a football kind of guy. But I also really enjoyed the Hoiberg run too. I don't know what it is.
