I'm working as the Iowa state coordinator for a project called Midwest Healthy Ag. The project's purpose is to study connections between farming practices and health (individual healthy, community wellbeing, etc.) It's a six-state study and we are focusing on two counties in each state, and the two focus counties in Iowa are Sioux and Winneshiek. In each of these two counties we're hoping to do interviews with about 12-15 farmers on these and related topics. It would be up to a two-hour interview, which I realize is a decent amount of time. We don't have a budget to pay participants but would offer a gift/gas card as a token of our appreciation, and you'd have the appreciation of a fellow diehard Clone.
More information on the project can be found at www.midwesthealthyag.org. If you are in one of these counties and interested in participating or at least open to learning more, my project email address is brumsey@midwesthealthyag.org or you could also send me a PM on here.
Bill, I don't read the off topic forum all the time, so please feel free to remove if this is not an appropriate post.
