My parents who live in Ankeny are both dealing with very serious health issues including cancer and heart disease. They made sacrifices in their lives so my brother and I could attend Iowa State and now their grandkids attend Iowa State. We just got the latest report from Mayo and my dad's cancer has returned. Next Friday is the consultation to determine next steps.
I will be traveling back to Iowa for Christmas and suggested that our family attend the Iowa state versus Texas Tech game on December 30. My parents loved the idea as they too are huge Cyclone fans.
