I run two pools each year, both different than the standard 'fill out bracket and be done with it' approach.
1 is a Survivor Pool -- pick one team each day to win. Win = move on, lose = go home.
The other is sorta weird, should be fun. You draft 8 teams from the 64-team pool then get varying degrees of points for each game they win (more points for upsets, less for #1 seeds). You also get two BLOCKS to play on opponents throughout the tournament -- ensuring them ZERO points if their team wins that game. I've never done this one before, I think it will be fun. The only pool with defense!
Both are $25 or less to enter and I take nothing off the top. Good fun.
Email brian.golden@gmail.com if you want to be involved, and I'll send you the Rules sheet and entry form. The more Cyclones, the better.
