My satisfaction this season is we are progressing and getting better as a team.....which will bode very well for next year. We have given some of the big twelve elites a run for their money this season (losing a three point, five point, seven point, and a 10 point game to the big twelve best. We lead texas for a half until the superior athletic talent took a toll on the 2nd half of that game. We just don't have all the pieces of the puzzle quite yet.....but impressed with the talent that has come and is coming in future years. I am pleased on how the staff put together a makeshift offensive line with no starting experience and are starting to blend together as a unit. I could see us finishing strong with 3 more wins if we get the same effort they gave against oklahoma. We are not close to the same team that played uni and iowa starting the season. No surprise since we started the season with a new coaching staff, many unseasoned players on the offensive line side and a suspect linebacking core for defense. Here is to a win against the jaysquawks this coming weekend and a strong finish to the two remaining home games!!
P.S. Park and Lanning give us some of the best talent/leadership at the QB in the Big Twelve and really love the speed that is being brought in. The Cyclone future is bright.
