Kind of a puzzle. Empire Builder had several cars derail in a remote area of Montana. Three dead, several hospitalized. No weather issues, happened in daylight, apparently no other vehicles, and the stretch of track had been inspected two days previously. NTSB says it might take a year to complete investigation.
