After we published the post-visit update on McNeill yesterday morning, he contacted me via twitter and said: "I am not a shooting guard."
We had included some analysis from Rivals' Eric Bossi that McNeill is more combo guard than pure point and he might be more of a shooting guard earlier on in his collegiate career. McNeill obviously sees himself as a point guard all the way. So it will be interesting to see how that plays out.
Iowa State remains in contention for 2017 4-star PG Lindell Wigginton as well.
