That is a lesson that many in life, and in part – college football- can learn, over time.
College football has seen that lesson being taught…every week. (but, how many learn ?)
ISU fans, coaches, players got to experience both sides of it, just 3 hours ago.
It certainly feels more comfortable –with a win – to learn the lesson….yet the pain of loss with healthy coping mechanisms (i.e. blaming others is not 1 of them ) can be even more sunk in between the ears.
We can improve, and are improving... there is no doubt.
Everyone can improve. It is great to seek out to become the best-version-of-ourselves.

When there is a will, there is a way. (with fervor, effort, focus, want, instinct and perseverance… over time…some times, split just seconds… in the moment in front of us)
Sometimes, a monkey on the one’s back, can be one’s best friend….because it helps motivate one to improve and to shed the monkey off of one’s back.
But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. - Isaiah 40:31
