1. When did Beathard get so good? He has started 3 games. One against Purdue, who sucks. One against Tennessee and Beathard sucked and one against an FCS school and Beathard didn't have to do anything but be exactly what Ruddock was last year...a game manager. The automatic assumption from Hawk fans is that he is going to walk into Jack Trice and light us up because he has a strong arm. Really?
2.Dale Pierson had 3 sacks and a INT and all anyone in the media can talk about is Drew Ott. Ott was going up against a true freshman starting his first game for a FCS school. Maybe Dale needs to eat a raw egg at media day.
I try to be more civil about this game the older I get, but the Iowa fan base is getting to me this week more than usual.
