Mateen Cleaves was going off on the oversized conferences and how schedules are effecting conference standings. He obviously has a dog in the fight (MSU), but his point is still valid. Mateen pointed out how the Big 12 is really doing it the right way and players want to be tested like that. On a different show, an ex-coach (Lappas or Brennan) was mentioning that a consequence of conference realignment was the impact the unequal scheduling has on the conference races and how that has devalued winning the league. Hard to not agree with them.
