I had the opportunity to officiate three games last Saturday in Cedar Falls. Thirty one teams from all over the mid-west.
While waiting for my third game to start, I sat next to TJ, who was in a long conversation with a counterpart from UNI. The game was Kishwaukee(IL) against Iowa Western. The Reivers team is loaded.
The highlight, for me, was seeing, from very close range, Donovan Jackson. That kid is shape shifting quick with the ball. He was in complete control of his team when on the floor. To see that kind of quickness and speed up close was a joy and an eye opener.
