Since the Oklahoma football loss, ISU has won 8 games/matches in a row: 3 VB, 2 men's BB, 2 women's BB and one in football.
Was at the women's game against UNI tonight. A typical slugfest against any team we play from UNI. We won by 8, but it was close most of the way. We led or were tied for all but 10 seconds of the game. I'm not one to complain about referees, but boy, they were pretty bad at times. UNI shot an airball late in the game which went out of bounds and there wasn't a Cyclone within 8 feet of the ball. The refs called it UNI's ball until they went over to check the monitor.
Jadda, Seanna and Bridget really carried the team tonight. Heather the transfer was very solid off the bench.
