Tough game for me!!! Bryce Sweeney wanted to be an ISU Cyclone. Couldn't believe I had a nephew 6'7" and strong as an ox ready to play D1 football and he really got no attention from ISU. UNI offered him a scholarship and he went with the purple. He has redshirted and then played sparingly last season in 13 games. He will be starting this one and it will be his first game against ISU. I'm so torn!!! He is currently 6'7" and 320 lbs and extremely strong guy. Hope he has a great game but I love Rhoads and I know he needs this win to keep his job.
I know they are implementing a new offense scheme. Few new faces on the OL and a new QB will probably be playing. We should dominate them but I say that every single time we play!! They are going to be pass happy I think and or just spread us out and try to run. Think Oregon. That is what they are trying to do but I'm not sure they have the speed / athletes to pull that off. Our defense won't know whats coming because this is going to be an entirely new offense for UNI. I don't think it should matter.
Our offense should be clicking. We have so many veterans that I'm hoping we take control of the game early and never pull our foot off of the gas.
