Here are the average number of viewers for football games for each Big 12 and Big Ten team and the number of times they appeared on a particular network/channel. I encourage discussion on these numbers, but I will point out that Iowa had only one game that exceeded Iowa State's average number of viewers. And that was the Iowa-Nebraska game. Iowa State averaged 871,762 more viewers than Iowa. That is a bigger difference that the difference between Iowa State and Oklahoma or Texas. Just to put the numbers in perspective.
